Mirror System

This simple one rail bank goes to the short rail, then to point X.

If you placed a large mirror on top of the short rail, aim at point X in the mirror to reach point X, no matter where your cue ball is located.

To find the first rail hit point without a mirror, locate a new point Y that is opposite, and directly across the table from point X.

From point Y, draw a line through the middle of the short rail, to a "spot on the wall" about seven feet beyond the table, called point Z.....this is the same distance as between point X and A.

Use a soft short stroke and enough speed to reach point X.....extra speed changes the cue ball path.

The carom, and nine ball player, should enjoy this method of calculation.
